Well the week is finally here. The week I’ve been dreading for a while now. This program has honestly been some of the best months of my life. I’ve met people and guests from all over the world, learned so much about myself and what I want to do with my life, and spent countless days in the parks acting as if they’re my home. Disney (and Goofy’s) has been my life the past 20 weeks and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My last night working was bittersweet. I’m glad to be going back to the best state and seeing my family and friends but I’m also sad to be leaving a place I’ve grown to love so much and the amazing people I’ve met along the way. I got to say goodbye to everyone I loved working with and maybe even shed a tear as I walked my last long walk back to my car. Is it too late to tell Disney I change my mind about my extension? Saying goodbye to my roommates was another story. I’m still in denial that I won’t be seeing their beautiful faces for a few months. I’m going to miss coming home to them every night talking about work, guests, the DCP, and laughing until we pass out from exhaustion. I’m also going to miss our late night slurpee runs, park days, and early morning breakfasts. They have made my program a blast and are a big reason why saying goodbye was so hard. I’m going to miss the mickey bars, magic, fireworks, tower of terror, mickey waffles, Festival of Lion King, World Showcase, Festival of Fantasy, Space Mountain, confectionary rice krispie balls, constant happiness, chocolate cake pops, monorail smell, friends I’ve made, guests I’ve had encounters with and so so so much more. I’ve made memories that I will remember forever and stories I can’t wait to tell. Thank you Disney for the opportunity of a lifetime. I’ll see ya real soon!

Thankful for a mom who flew down to Orlando just to drive home for two days with me. ((even though I considered turning the car around and heading back to Disney while she slept)) We spent the night in Biloux, Mississippi eating fish tacos and talking about life. Love you more.
