This week, week seven, has been very very very good!! ((not that the others haven’t, but this one has been especially good for some reason)). It might be the fact that it’s snowy and cold back home in Texas and that means I’m especially GRATEFUL to be here in warm, sunny, Orlando! ((sorry to brag friends and family in the cold…you know I love ya)).

Wednesday the roomies and I headed to france in epcot for breakfast. We may have only been there for like 30 minutes but it was definitely worth it and we even got to see some of the stuff they’re putting up for flower and garden festival. It blows my mind that this is my life this semester. Where I can just go to Disney for a few minutes to have breakfast or grab lunch. ITS CRAZY. We had delicious french pastries and bread for breakfast followed by hot chocolate. Wish I could spend every morning in france.

ThursdayI spent the whole day in Hollywood Studios ((and an hour and a half in Magic Kingdom)) with my friend Erika who I haven’t seen in FOREVER even though we live like 5 minutes from each other. We spent the day catching up and talking mostly about crazy work stories and guest experiences. I’ve been dying to eat at 50s Prime Time Café in Hollywood Studios since I got here and we were finally able to have lunch there. The place itself is really cool, people call each other cousins and you feel like you’re eating with your family in the kitchen. The food on the other hand was alright…not the best Disney food I’ve eaten but certainly not the worst food I’ve eaten either. After lunch we watched a few shows ((Beauty and the Beast was amazing…Voyage of the Little mermaid was not)), ate some more, and found a spot for Fantasmic. I’ve never seen fantasmic and it was so so so good! Amazing. Brilliant. Almost as good as wishes. Definitely better than illuminations. Fantasmic was at 7 and wishes in Magic Kingdom was at 8. I don’t know why but we thought we could make both shows??? We were wrong…we got to Magic Kingdom right as wishes was ending but we did have time to get Casey’s hot dogs for dinner and enjoy the view of the castle from the new grassy area they opened up. Basically me and Erika had a date day.

here I am, documenting menus again

Thoughts this Week:

1. glad I’m not in Texas right now

2. sometimes after a long day at work you just need to come home and jam out to hannah montana to make you feel better

3. I should probably go to the grocery store soon because I’m living off of practically nothing ((update: I went))

4. my favorite part of the day is coming home to my roommates and talking about our days ((mostly laughing))

5. I get to see my family in a week and I’m too excited!

6. I love to find out where guests are from

7. I miss my car

I hope all of you had a magical week!
