Disney College Program Week Ten

Have I really been down here two and a half months?! I feel like I have so much to accomplish and cross off of my Disney bucket list before I leave this magical place. It’s weird to think about packing up and driving back to Texas because Orlando and Disney are starting to feel like home and I’m just not ready to leave yet Exciting news though, I did end up getting accepted to extend my program until August. I’ve been going back and forth all week about whether or not I should or shouldn’t. My pros and cons list was pretty 50/50 and even though I want to stay here more than ever I’ve decided to head back to Lubbock and spend the summer taking classes, planning my sisters baby shower, hitting up family reunions, and floating the river with my friends. I’ll miss you Disney.

Now on to the Pros and Cons of this week. Con: I had to say goodbye to my favorite little boys. They headed back to Texas but I think they had a magical vacation here. I loved hearing about their favorite parts and seeing all the hilarious roller coaster pictures they had. Pro: Disney gave us treats for St. Patty’s day and it was one of the best parts of my week ((bc who doesn’t love free food??))

The biggest pro of this week though was our mini vacay/spring break/day off beach trip!!!! After not working practically at all last week I worked almost every day this week and it was a struggle but the beach trip made my week a little better. My roommates and I drove the two hours to Clearwater, FL for a one day spring break ((wishin we could have gone to PCB)) and it was the best one day spring break ever. We got a little fried from the sun, ate uber delicious fish tacos, and slept on the beach, and other than the fact we are all hurting from sunburns this week it was a fun trip and we will definitely be back. WE LOVE YOU CLEARWATER.

it was called clearwater but the water was not clear..

we saw the swings, looked at each other, and ran to them

Thoughts this Week:

1. While driving through Tampa we realized it smells like ketchup??

2. My favorite quote of the week is from my roommate Christine ((who has never been to the beach)) realizing that the “ocean is so active”

3. Hi Nancy, Christine, and ALLIE!!! ((roomie love))

4. Finally saw Big Hero 6 and it was very good. I highly recommend it.

5. This week was a movie week. Also saw Cinderella and it was also very good ((at least the first half bc I had to leave early for work))

6. AND saw the avengers but that was only ok  the ending was really good though!!
