48 Hours Back Home and a Cute New Nephew

I thinks it’s acceptable to skip the first week of school when 1) it’s syllabus week and 2) you get to go back to your favorite place for 48 hours and roam the parks with your DCP roomies. That’s exactly what I did last week. My sister and brother-in-law had their first baby this month ((side note: this post contains lots of pictures of him bc he is THE CUTEST baby in the world)) so of course I had to fly down to Florida to meet him. I’ve been waiting for this moment to happen since I can remember and I definitely couldn’t go to Florida without visiting my favorite place in the world as well?!?! So I stopped in Disney for a little bit and had the most magical two days. My roommates were still down there from the end of their program so I got to see them and we had a grand time playing in the parks just like old times. It almost kinda sucked going back because I knew I had to leave again, and this time I didn’t know when I would be back. I’ve gotten one of my friends here at tech interested in the program for this coming spring, so if she gets in, I’ll definitely have to visit her…duhh!!! OK, enough rambling about Disney, the most important thing about the post is that I am FINALLY AN AUNT!!!! holy moly it’s the best feeling in the world!! I now have this cute little nephew that I can spoil the shit out of but I don’t have to take care of him!!! It sucks that they live so far away so I’ll only be able to see him every few months but I love him to the moon and back so much already! WELCOME TO THE WORLD AERO SILAS JOHNSON!!!
